Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically within rotating equipment or gas systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, and familiarity with finite element analysis and piping stress analysis techniques is preferred. Experience with configuration tools such as Cadenas and Rulestream is highly desirable.
As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs for Seal Gas Panels, developing detailed piping designs, performing structural and piping analysis, coordinating with procurement and instrument design engineers, collaborating with system and mechanical engineers on auxiliary equipment, leveraging configuration tools to standardize designs, supporting product configuration development, and providing technical support during packaging, testing, and manufacturing phases.
