High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting or related field
Knowledge of Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices
PC literacy and experience with spreadsheets and database software
Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to follow SOPs and verbal instructions
Familiarity with commonly used hand tools
Ability to work independently to meet targets
Eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills
Understanding of production schedules and task prioritization
Knowledge of Chromatography software and ERP Systems (preferred)
Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
Visual abilities to detect small components and particles
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to handle and feel
Tolerance for exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, moderate noise, strong odors, and hazardous/toxic materials
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards and PPE requirements (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, masks, face shields, safety shoes)

Responsibilities

Assemble and test complex ion chromatography products using specialized instruments to meet customer demand
Guide team during training sessions
Record production activities, accurately report test results, and maintain proper documentation
Inspect products for defects and complete work orders according to approved procedures and quality policies
Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery, troubleshoot basic issues, and follow safety requirements
Participate in safety improvement activities to ensure a safe working environment
Analyze data, derive conclusions, prepare comprehensive reports, and propose countermeasures for improvements
Collaborate with colleagues on continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment
Perform daily ERP transactions
Work towards achieving department targets
