Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong understanding of production systems and process optimization
  • Demonstrated program or project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose solutions beyond standard parameters under guidance
  • Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to provide informal guidance to team members and collaborate across departments
  • Understanding of key business drivers and how engineering decisions impact broader organizational goals
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor or as an early-stage people leader capable of hiring and developing talent
  • Restricted to U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology

Responsibilities

  • Define and control production processes, including tooling specifications, process flow, and layout
  • Validate design specifications and ensure successful implementation of new products, tools, and technologies on the shop floor
  • Analyze and improve manufacturing methods to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Identify and implement process savings opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and increase yield
  • Lead process development and documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and control plans
  • Support new product introductions (NPIs) by coordinating manufacturing readiness, process capability studies, and pilot builds
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
  • Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new designs
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other structured methodologies
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data-driven approaches to improve throughput and reduce cost
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and internal policies
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives
