Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, and OSHA 30 certification is required. Fiber Optic Association CPCT and CFOT certifications are preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in structured cabling or related fields. Strong understanding of fiber optic and copper cabling, testing, and troubleshooting is necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Low Voltage Technician, you will lead and train a team of 3-5 technicians and installers on small projects, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to E2 Optics' core value of safety. You will install and maintain structured cabling systems, including fiber and copper, perform system testing, troubleshooting, and ensure accurate terminations and labeling. Additionally, you will oversee jobsite organization, maintain professional appearance, and ensure compliance with security requirements, while reading and interpreting floor plans, blueprints, and industry standards.
