Requirements

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EO/SAR imagery analysis or geospatial data annotation is required, along with proficiency in geospatial software tools like ArcGIS or QGIS. Demonstrated leadership in data validation or quality assurance processes and experience with object classification, visual QA, and annotation feedback cycles are also necessary. Familiarity with automated quality metrics, annotation pipelines, SAR-specific feature analysis, and basic scripting (e.g., Python, Jupyter) are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Lead Imagery Analyst will lead quality assurance reviews of annotated geospatial imagery, including bounding boxes, segmentation, and center points. They will train and mentor junior annotators on best practices, identify and address systemic annotation issues, and validate annotation accuracy. This role involves collaborating with engineering, product, and machine learning teams to ensure data output meets downstream model needs. Additionally, the analyst will recommend and implement improvements to annotation tools and processes, and write and maintain annotation guidelines and quality control documentation.
