Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment delivery, and patient experience to all clinical personnel in the studio (Clinical Mentorship)
  • Correct hard and soft skills, and provide performance improvement coaching to all clinical personnel. Maintain appropriate documentation (Clinical Coaching)
  • Conduct complete performance reviews of general dentists in the studio on a monthly or quarterly basis, creating Action Plans as needed (Performance Reviews)
  • Work with the Studio Manager, Clinical/Operations, and People teams to interview and onboard clinical personnel. Assume the role of Clinical Lead in onboarding new hires (Hiring & Onboarding)
  • Initiate Quality Assurance Reviews for new hires (Quality Assurance)
  • Review monthly REDOs (Recall Effectiveness Data Outcomes) with the Studio Manager, analyze trends, and maintain quality outcomes of care for clinical teams in the studio (Maintain Quality Outcomes)
  • Partner with the Lead Hygienist and Lead Dental Assistant in mentorship and coaching of hygienists and dental assistants, respectively (Escalation Management)
  • Partner with the Studio Manager on escalated member issues (detractors, Clinical Escalation Workflow) to review cases, de-escalate members, and provide feedback to providers. Make determinations on refunds and other matters related to member escalations (Member Escalation Resolution)
  • Partner with the Studio Manager on pre-shift huddles, focusing on opportunities for improving clinical workflow and member experience (Workflow Optimization)
  • Partner with the Studio Manager on non-clinical functional areas of Clinical/Operations, Finance, People Support, and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to optimize practice performance (Cross-Functional Collaboration)
  • Partner with the Studio Manager to optimize schedules of all providers in the studio, with the goals of improving member access to care, outcomes of care, and achieving studio goals (Schedule Optimization)
