Candidates must hold a PhD in Chemistry or a related technical discipline, with a minimum of two years of Industrial Research & Development experience, or an MS degree in Chemistry or a related discipline with a minimum of four years of Industrial Research & Development experience. They should have experience developing innovative chemical, automation, and/or digital technologies for process and industrial wastewater applications, and the ability to travel up to 20% for domestic and international travel.
As a Lead Chemical Engineer, the individual will manage and drive projects delivering unique chemistry and equipment solutions for Microelectronics customers, leading projects from ideation to commercialization in collaboration with various functions. They will develop a technological roadmap for water, wastewater, and automation for Microelectronics customers, engaging with customers, sales engineers, and marketing to translate challenges into research platforms, and provide advanced technical support. Furthermore, the role involves developing innovative chemistries, automation, and digital tools for the Microelectronics Industry, particularly in process water and wastewater treatment, and collaborating with other researchers and field technical consultants to deploy new innovations in field applications.
