Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology or chemistry, or a related scientific field (preferred)
  • 3+ years successful selling products of a technical nature or distribution sales (preferred)
  • Demonstrated core understanding of Microscopy / Imaging / Application
  • Relationship Building with channel partners; Interpersonal and Communication Skills
  • Knowledge of specific areas of work (Commercial, Government, University, Industry etc.)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% overnight within the US and Canada
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the large channel partnership and distribution strategy within North America
  • Implement initiatives to drive growth and ensure effective market activities
  • Lead strategic regional channel meetings, trainings, and business reviews
  • Monitor distribution performance to achieve revenue and margin goals
  • Establish professional relationships with key channel partner representatives and leaders
  • Manage the implementation of new processes to enable our channel partners
  • Key account management, product and application support, and driving field sales and customer engagement through large channel partners
  • Focus on relationship development and management, identifying cross-selling opportunities across product lines and business divisions
  • Supporting marketing and sales tools development
  • Responsible for the complete product portfolio under Life Science and Applied business
