Requirements

Located within 60 miles of Intersect Power hubs (SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; Toronto, ON)
Successful land acquisition professional experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Experience supporting real estate work streams on large-scale projects, land campaigns, and land acquisition efforts
Familiarity with CAISO market and technologies including solar, storage, OGM, transmission, and data centers

Responsibilities

Contribute to various aspects of the land acquisition process, from site due diligence to resolving title and survey matters to closing site control agreements for financing and construction
Support all aspects of solar, battery storage, and real estate from early-stage strategy through financial close and start of construction
Perform day-to-day administration of GIS tools, project trackers, budgets, schedules, and development tools
Support and administer the negotiation of complex land and site acquisition agreements (leases, purchases, easements, surface waivers, etc.)
Oversee and administer 3rd party land agents and document specialists, including conducting administrative audits of reports and trackers for compliance and managing document request workflows for multiple site control campaigns
Maintain internal site control trackers and Power BI tool to provide progress reports across the organization
Manage and work with landowners and community groups to facilitate strong community engagement and foster good relationships
Assist in preparing and updating land acquisition budgets and executive materials
Provide ongoing support to Managers, Director, and Head of Land
