Requirements

7-10 years hands-on experience in Development, L3 and/or L2+ support, ready to handle L3 responsibilities
Advanced Java/J2EE experience (REST API, Servlet, JavaScript/HTML, JSP, JDBC, Struts, Hibernate, Spring)
Advanced experience with multi-server/Tier environments: Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic
Advanced hands-on experience in databases (DB2, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
Mid- to Advanced Unix and scripting experience (shell, Perl, etc.)
Good hands-on experience in understanding and modifying shell/Perl scripts
Good experience with job scheduler monitoring tools (Autosys, Procmon, Crontab, etc.)
Advanced hands-on experience with IDEs like Eclipse, NetBeans
Mid- to Advanced experience with Git, Jenkins, and other repository/deployment tools
Mid- to Advanced experience in Support model (L2+/L3)
Good exposure to production tooling (ticketing/monitoring) like Jira, ServiceNow, and processes (Incident/Problem management, Change management)
Good experience in making code changes (Java, Unix, DB) in production and running end-to-end SDLC steps
Advanced conversational English (essential, will be evaluated)

Responsibilities

Provide L3 Java support in a remote, full-time role for a Latin American IT company
Handle advanced troubleshooting, development, and support tasks across Java/J2EE stack, servers, databases, Unix scripting, and tools
Monitor job schedulers and production environments using tools like Autosys, Jira, ServiceNow
Implement code changes in production following SDLC processes
