Requirements

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
  • Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and build solutions that meet customers’ expectations, including resolving issues
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services within the store
  • Proven success in working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and more
  • Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and handling bulky/awkwardly shaped items (regularly up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds)

Responsibilities

  • Assist managers with daily operations of the store to maximize sales and maintain operational standards
  • Support team of employees to ensure operational tasks, procedures, opening, and closing routines are completed successfully, keeping the customer at the center
  • Lead by example by setting and exceeding personal and company goals while emphasizing outstanding customer service
  • Support employees to deliver outstanding customer service by teaching and training
  • Share knowledge of fashion, upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, Nordstrom Rewards program, and mailing list with customers
  • Assist in maintaining selling floors and stockrooms organized and clean
  • Complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
