High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
Ability to identify opportunities that benefit the customer and build solutions that meet customers’ expectations, including resolving issues
Ability to quickly adapt to new initiatives, concepts, and services within the store
Proven success in working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Basic understanding of technology tools and computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and more
Physical ability for continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching, grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, pulling, and handling bulky/awkwardly shaped items (regularly up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds)

Responsibilities

Assist managers with daily operations of the store to maximize sales and maintain operational standards
Support team of employees to ensure operational tasks, procedures, opening, and closing routines are completed successfully, keeping the customer at the center
Lead by example by setting and exceeding personal and company goals while emphasizing outstanding customer service
Support employees to deliver outstanding customer service by teaching and training
Share knowledge of fashion, upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, Nordstrom Rewards program, and mailing list with customers
Assist in maintaining selling floors and stockrooms organized and clean
Complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
