Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Supply Chain certification desired
  • Significant experience in Supplier Management, Category, and Sourcing
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Expertise in supplier relationship management
  • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration
  • Experience in supply chain or procurement
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and performance tracking
  • Effective stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of category and sourcing strategies

Responsibilities

  • Enable BH to be the customer of Choice
  • Lead and manage strategic suppliers' engagement and act as the primary interface for key suppliers
  • Manage suppliers’ contracts, ensuring value assurance, inflation monitoring, and contract compliance
  • Renegotiate price lists and contract renewals following category directions
  • Support sourcing in establishing contracts with assigned suppliers
  • Monitor suppliers’ performance through KPIs monitoring and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Manage supplier capacity as per business needs
  • Plan and execute Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews (QBRs/ABRs) for key suppliers
  • Drive Supplier Innovation & Sustainability discussions
  • Lead supplier risk identification and mitigation planning
  • Coordinate phase-out for suppliers exiting the KAM program
  • Communicate with Executive leadership for the suppliers and internal Baker Hughes
