Responsibilities

  • Improve safety at the site through 5S, standard work, improved ergonomics, and process changes
  • Support sites with problem-solving techniques to achieve world-class quality and delivery by identifying root causes and making problems visible
  • Act as the primary hands-on lean manufacturing expert, supporting kaizens, data/problem-solving/root cause analysis for tier meetings, establishing/improving standard work for associates and leaders, and implementing improved visual management with 5S principles
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders on change management, providing robust follow-through on changes alongside teams like Operational Excellence, Inventory Control, Operations, and Maintenance
  • Support time study validation of new or existing standards, audit processes and associates with process observations, and assist in LMS training for new associates
  • Translate data to information via reports and create PowerBI dashboards to aid decision-making and problem-solving (depending on individual capabilities)
