Candidates are required to possess a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar IT Support role, preferably at a senior level, along with intermediate problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills, and strong time management capabilities. They must have a solid understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networks, and software applications, coupled with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency in English. A relevant information technology or technology-related qualification and an ITIL Foundation Certificate are also required.
As an IT Support Specialist, the individual will provide 1st to 2nd-level technical support via email, chat, or ticketing systems, troubleshooting common hardware, software, connectivity, and account access issues for end-users across the APAC region. They will also provide remote support to internal employees and brokers, resolve their computing issues/requests within agreed SLAs, provide training and support on IT resources, update software and hardware to maintain strong IT security, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, support and maintain Audio Visual equipment and Video conferencing tools, create and maintain knowledge articles, and perform other duties as required.
