Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to provide essential technical support to our employees and the IT team. This is a part-time, remote position with a focus on back-end IT support and advanced technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in back-end IT support or advanced technical support roles.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of computer network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in virus protection software.
  • Expertise in Microsoft operating systems and applications.
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for employees and the IT team.
• Perform basic and advanced troubleshooting for Microsoft systems and general computer issues.
• Manage helpdesk tickets, including intake, prioritization, resolution, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Computer networks
  • Virus protection and security software
  • End-user devices and applications
• Deliver back-end IT support and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and support workflows.
• Perform other tasks related to the role.
