Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory position for IT operation and/or IT management within an international organization environment
  • At least 3 years of solid project management experience with a proven track record
  • At least 3 years of experience utilizing IT technologies, including Microsoft Software, HP/Dell servers, Juniper/Cisco systems, PC and server management, computer networks, VOIP, Smartphone, database, and IT Security
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal
  • Availability for regular travel
  • Solid knowledge and experience in IT operation and IT management

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the IT Site team in Japan, managing IT infrastructure and providing comprehensive user support
  • Facilitate and manage IT projects, ensuring they align with customer needs and organizational priorities
  • Manage IT-related infrastructure and security to provide an efficient and secure business operational environment
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and procedures, including budget and expense control
  • Act as a key liaison between business and IT, communicating requirements and activities to foster strong collaboration
  • Drive continuous process improvement for end-user support metrics and overall IT service delivery
  • Develop and maintain unique local business knowledge to ensure effective implementation of international and corporate business applications
