Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in IT security and compliance. They should have in-depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and familiarity with security tools like firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are preferred, and the candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
The IT Security & Compliance professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing information security policies and compliance programs, conducting routine audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and incidents, collaborating with departments to foster security awareness, developing and delivering training sessions, and keeping abreast of the latest developments in security and compliance regulations. They will also generate reports detailing compliance metrics, assisting in disaster recovery and incident response plan preparation, and working with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing compliance.
