Responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Resiliency Testing Strategy: Create a comprehensive resiliency testing strategy to ensure the right infrastructure elements are tested effectively.
• Test Planning: Oversee the development of resiliency and Disaster Recovery (DR) test plans, including objectives, scope, scenarios, test scripts, and success criteria.
• Test Scheduling & Coordination: Create and coordinate testing schedules and execution with cross-functional teams (Operations, Security, Business Continuity, external vendors) to minimize impact on production systems.
• Test Execution: Lead the facilitation and execution of resiliency and DR tests, simulating various scenarios to validate failover and recovery procedures, Recovery Time Objective (RTO), and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
• Documentation & Reporting: Document test results, observations, and lessons learned, clearly identifying areas for improvement and recommendations.
• Risk Management: Identify and proactively address risks associated with test plans and execution, and assist in their mitigation to ensure system availability and security.
• Improve Recovery Procedures: Contribute to improving recovery procedures and minimizing downtime.
• Improve Availability: Enhance the availability of critical applications and infrastructure.
