IT Engineer

Position Overview

As an IT Engineer at Zoom, you will be responsible for managing global corporate network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN/WiFi networks, server room specifications, and network security. You'll maintain network equipment, collaborate with various teams and vendors, and ensure optimal network performance. The role requires networking expertise, experience with major hardware vendors, and the ability to handle multiple projects.

Requirements

• Knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and common protocols (UDP, TCP IPv4/IPv6).
• Experience with enterprise network hardware including Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Dell, Aruba, Meraki, or Cisco, and modern data center design concepts.
• Network services expertise: VoIP, SIP, DHCP, Radius, SFTP, Iperf, NAT, DNS, QoS, traffic engineering and Python scripting skills.
• Advanced networking protocols knowledge: VTP, STP, LACP, VRRP, CIDR, HA firewall configuration.
• Knowledge of telecommunications and transmission technologies background.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS.
• 4+ years of network technology experience and 3+ years of system administration managing networks for 2000+ user organizations.
• Experience in multi-project management, independent work capability, team collaboration, and on-call availability.
