Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in a corporate IT environment, with intermediate PC hardware experience including building, diagnosing, and repairing computers. Proficiency in supporting various software such as Adobe CC, Microsoft Office 365, Cisco AnyConnect, and System Drivers is required. A working knowledge of current Windows and OSX versions, including installation and troubleshooting, is necessary, along with intermediate knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and MDT for image creation and deployment. Basic knowledge of scripting languages like MS PowerShell and Python is also required. Experience supporting Apple iPhone/iPad and Android OS phone devices is expected. ITIL knowledge and experience are a plus. The role requires outstanding customer service skills, strong written and verbal communication, excellent organization and time-management skills, reliability, dependability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including flexible schedules with evenings and weekends. Candidates must be fluent in English, able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, and possess a passion for gaming.
The IT Desktop Support Engineer II will provide high-level support to end users for IT desktop and operational issues, identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems. Responsibilities include responding to user requests via phone and email, documenting and tracking issues for timely resolution using systems like JIRA, Confluence, or Service Now, and managing ticket requests with follow-up.
