Requirements

Candidates must possess extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP/Vertex), along with experience in AI and agent tooling, logging, and relevant AI infrastructure. Proficiency in languages like Python or JavaScript, a strong grasp of API development and event-driven architecture, and a solid background in CI/CD practices are essential. Experience with agent orchestration (A2A) and familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) are highly desired.

Responsibilities

The AI Platforms Architect will lead platform strategy and tool development by identifying gaps and creating scalable tools, wrappers, and agents for company-wide use. They will drive technical evaluation and integration of vendor solutions, acting as a technical advisor for new platforms and implementation plans. This role involves balancing build vs. buy decisions, designing and implementing robust infrastructure with a focus on CI/CD, performance, capacity, and logging, and managing strategic partnerships with agencies and platforms. Additionally, the architect will partner with security and infrastructure teams to manage AI lifecycle governance, secure model endpoints, and control data access.
