Minimum of 5 years of experience in Landscape Water Management Operations
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Time management skills
Creative problem solving and organization skills
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s or associate degree in Horticulture or related fields preferred
Ability to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to move about the work site, including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 100% of workday
100% time in the field

Responsibilities

Communicate with Business Manager, sales team, and others to ensure high level of communication, exceptional quality standards, and efficient job performance
Complete daily administrative tasks (e.g., inventory tracking, time entry, DOT pre-trip) promptly and accurately
Know and ensure crew adherence to all company procedures, safety, and personnel policies
Perform all irrigation maintenance and repair tasks, including identifying water sources, locating isolation valves, replacing/adjusting irrigation heads, and programming irrigation schedules
Estimate cost of services and assist sales team in selling work to increase productivity and revenue
Evaluate and document start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of irrigation systems in irrigation software for client communication
Monitor service schedule timelines, adjust as needed, and communicate delays, incidents, or quality control issues to Business Manager
Keep work area clean and organized, maintain clean truck/trailer and uniform, and properly store equipment
Perform seasonal snow and ice removal tasks (plowing, shoveling, salt applications) during winter months
Supervise or manage areas/zones as directed by snow management team
Additional duties as assigned
