Candidates must have experience in cryptocurrency investigations and a strong desire to become a subject matter expert. They should possess insatiable curiosity about cryptocurrencies and the growing market, experience providing training or guidance to others on products, and proficient report writing skills. Fluency in both written and verbal English and Hebrew is required, along with a strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape and Fin-Crime activities. Experience collecting and analyzing information from various sources to produce intelligence reports is also necessary. Familiarity with Chainalysis products, certifications, or investigative/analytical experience in law enforcement or a government compliance agency are considered advantageous, as are programming/data science skills such as Python, Spark, or C++.
The Investigator will become a trusted advisor to customers, providing support, mentorship, and coaching through various methods including trainings and masterclasses. They will offer technical advice and investigative support for complex cryptocurrency investigations, prepare in-depth summaries of data from research and analysis, and make recommendations for investigations. Responsibilities include reviewing the adequacy and completeness of investigations and data collection methods to determine authenticity and pertinence, and completing Chainalysis certifications to expertly navigate blockchain analytic tools.
