Responsibilities

Execute departmental inventory counts, process and sort damaged/defective/return to vendor merchandise
Reduce salvage, obtain return authorizations from vendors, re-wrap sellable merchandise
Work cross-functionally within departments to complete inventory control responsibilities
Track, plan, coordinate, and execute department inventory counts and control count cycles as prescribed by Home Office within deadlines
Follow count processes and procedures
Obtain return authorizations from vendors, process vendor chargebacks, package and ship merchandise returns per vendor policies
Maintain correct stock/inventory status for damaged, defective, and returned merchandise
Assess breakage logs for leaking, spoiled, and broken merchandise; process out of inventory; handle freezer and dairy damages
Conduct daily club safety walks in absence of RTV
Administer salvage and donation merchandise orders per company community donation programs
Execute merchandise protection on designated items
Review daily return reports, process merchandise recalls, and handle tire and battery returns
Re-wrap sellable merchandise using proper seal and shrink-wrap packaging
