Responsibilities

  • Investigate and benchmark alternative CI platforms to replace CircleCI, focusing on developer experience, speed, cost efficiency, and security
  • Expand self-hosted CI infrastructure to multiple Google Cloud Platform regions to utilize spot instances effectively and reduce costs
  • Experiment with approaches to reduce infrastructure costs, such as running stateless workloads on spot instances in Kubernetes and improving binpacking efficiency on Kubernetes nodes
  • Improve Vault setup for secrets management (e.g., disaster recovery) and design seamless developer integration
