Requirements

  • Following a Bachelor study with a background in Business IT & Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, or Supply Chain Management
  • Understanding of MS Office 365 applications
  • Basic understanding of AI and programming
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Based in or around Zwolle and able to be onsite 4 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Define Phase: Review the current state of the AI-based negotiation tool, identify key areas for improvement in user experience and functionality, and define project goals and objectives
  • Measure Phase: Collect feedback from current users to identify usability issues and establish metrics for evaluating user-friendliness and effectiveness
  • Analyze Phase: Analyze user feedback and data to pinpoint improvements, research best practices in AI tool design and user experience, and develop a plan for enhancing the tool's interface and functionality
  • Improve Phase: Implement enhancements to improve user-friendliness, develop a real-life demo scenario for an actual negotiation, and test the enhanced tool and demo in a controlled environment
  • Control Phase: Establish control measures for continued effectiveness, train procurement team members on the tool and demo, and monitor/report on performance and user satisfaction over time
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Procurement and other Abbott branches
  • Tailor the assignment to meet study program requirements as needed
