Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 years of marketing experience in MedTech or equivalent experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, public relations, communications or a related field
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills including developing relationships in all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of major EU congresses: Contribute to the development of a high quality and consistent image of Shockwave Medical across all customer events
  • Be responsible for end-to-end event program planning, project management, and logistics from initial planning to post-event program follow-up of all in-person international events; coordinate all elements to ensure high-quality execution aligned with brand, compliance policy, budget, and business objectives (IVL focused); be the on-site reference for EU congresses
  • Collaborate on and execute the planning, development and distribution of marketing collateral to the sales team, and ensure localized content for different markets while maintaining sales enablement platform with currently approved content
  • Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and media suppliers
  • Analyse social media conversations about Shockwave and competitive technology
  • Work collaboratively with the Product/marketing managers to develop content for blog and social media channels and work on Lytho (or similar platforms) to ensure alignment with brand
  • Be the point of contact with US/Global brand & Digital team to ensure global brand strategy, with International Marcoms and Comms on brand, compliant, and customized to each country
  • Assist in the development of the monthly internal newsletter summarizing key milestones
  • Manage marketing finances, tracking program budgets and measuring success of key initiatives
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of cardiology and peripheral community trends and recommend opportunities
  • Maintain sales enablement platform with currently approved content
  • Manage HCPs CV requests in the Speakcore system for meetings while working cross-functionally with US marketing team and Med Ed team
  • Cooperate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with applicable standard operating procedures for HCPs contracts and payments and for all marketing related activities
