Candidates must possess over 6 years of experience in Channel Sales, with at least 2 years specifically managing distribution partners. A proven track record of developing and executing distribution strategies that result in measurable revenue growth and market expansion is essential. Experience working with both large and local distributors across the UK and EMEA, along with a background in cybersecurity or SaaS (preferably cloud-native and technical infrastructure) and expertise in recurring revenue business models, are required. The role also demands a demonstrated ability to scale operations in high-growth environments, a strong analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, and excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. A willingness to travel 3–5 days per week across the UK and EMEA for partner meetings, events, and industry conferences is also a mandatory requirement.
The Senior Distribution Account Manager will be responsible for designing and executing distribution strategies to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and alignment with business objectives. This includes building, managing, and optimizing partnerships with key distributors and resellers to ensure long-term mutual success. The role involves monitoring and analyzing partner performance, applying data-driven insights to maximize sales effectiveness and profitability. Additionally, the manager will lead enablement initiatives to equip partners with the necessary training, tools, and resources, and implement scalable systems, programs, and tools to enhance operational efficiency and support partner growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams like marketing, product, finance, and operations to align strategies and resources for partner success is also a key responsibility. The manager will also stay informed on industry trends and competitive dynamics, providing insights to shape strategy and product direction, and represent 1Password externally at industry events and in the market.
