BSN or RN required
3+ years' experience in nursing within a direct patient care setting
Excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent PC skills (including MS Word, Excel and Access) required
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Demonstrated understanding of reviewing policies and procedures

Responsibilities

Develop and implement programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services
Develop programs to focus employees on the quality of care given to patients
Develop policies, procedures and methods to check operational quality and improve same
Train and/or coach staff and management in areas such as quality improvement, process management and reliability science
Maintain communications with administration, medical staff and department heads regarding quality assurance activities
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed
Follow established guidelines/procedures
