Requirements

  • Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD degree program in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or related technical discipline
  • Strong academic record and interest in research and/or hands-on engineering
  • Background/experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, generative AI, image/video processing, analytics/big data, reverse engineering, signal processing, sensing systems, autonomy, software development, and biotechnology

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a project team with focused mentorship from experienced staff
  • Collaborate with technical experts to support projects in various phases of development ranging from problem design to development of prototype algorithms to integration and test of field ready systems
  • Build on existing technical communication skills culminating in a presentation to the STR community and peers
