Must hold a Texas Property & Casualty insurance license
3 years + of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record of sales success
Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance
Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, marketplace, products, and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance carriers
Personable, highly motivated, and goal oriented. Driven to achieve individual sales goals
Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple systems and quoting platforms
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

Develop and bind new business with carriers
Meet with potential clients to discuss their insurance needs and research available policy options for the client
Present and explain policy details to the clients
Advising clients on risk management
Advising clients on when and how to file a claim on their policy
Advise Ownwell product and engineering team on software development and automation opportunities
Maintain client relationships and provide support to Ownwell clients
Retain customers year-over-year
