Requirements

  • Must hold a Texas Property & Casualty insurance license
  • 3 years + of sales experience in an insurance brokerage with a proven track record of sales success
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance
  • Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance, marketplace, products, and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance carriers

Responsibilities

  • Develop and bind new business with carriers
  • Meet with potential clients to discuss their insurance needs and research available policy options for the client
  • Present and explain policy details to the clients
  • Advising clients on risk management
  • Advising clients on when and how to file a claim on their policy
  • Advise Ownwell product and engineering team on software development and automation opportunities
  • Maintain client relationships and provide support to Ownwell clients
  • Retain customers year-over-year
