Requirements

Candidates should have experience with field work, such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and be comfortable operating a bucket truck. Prior use of power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment is necessary, along with handyman-like experience and basic computer skills. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, bend, dig, reach, climb, squat, sit, stand, walk, drive, and lift up to 50 lbs independently.

Responsibilities

Installation Technicians will install poles, including digging holes, and mount solar panels and external batteries. They will affix cameras to poles, work on equipment at heights up to 30 feet using bucket trucks or ladders, and repair minor underground wiring breaks. Technicians will also provide installation pictures via a mobile app, manage inventory, receive shipments, and interact with customers to discuss installation options and perform site surveys. They must interpret traffic control plans and permit drawings to identify proper installation locations and perform all work in a safe and professional manner.
