Requirements

Candidates should have prior experience with field work such as construction, security systems, or low voltage wiring, and be comfortable operating a bucket truck. Prior use of power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment is necessary, along with handyman-like experience. The role requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, possess general tech knowledge and a desire to learn new software, and have basic computer skills including Office Suite and Google Suite. Candidates must be comfortable working on ladders at high heights and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Installation Technicians will install poles, including digging holes, and mount solar panels and external batteries. They will affix license-plate reading cameras to poles, working at heights up to 30 feet using bucket trucks or ladders. Responsibilities include repairing minor breaks in underground irrigation or private wiring, performing site surveys, interpreting traffic control plans, and meeting with customers to discuss installation options. Technicians will also use a mobile app to provide installation pictures, manage inventory, receive shipments, and perform administrative tasks in a safe and professional manner.
