Candidates should have proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably in the inspection or construction industry, and possess strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. They should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and attention to detail in record-keeping and documentation. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
The Inspection Secretary will estimate inspection requirements and costs, coordinate and schedule inspections with clients and inspectors, ensure timely completion of inspections and reports, inform the billing department of completed inspections, maintain accurate records, communicate with clients, collaborate with inspectors, monitor inspection progress, and assist with preparing reports and documentation for regulatory agencies. They will also maintain organized records of inspection reports, correspondence, and related documents, and demonstrate a proactive attitude and professional demeanor.
