Requirements

  • Experience in building client relationships and managing stakeholders
  • Experience of prioritising multiple workstreams to ensure the delivery of maximum value
  • Experience of analysing data to solve challenging problems and deliver business value
  • Ability to simplify the complex – distil lots of information down to key conclusions
  • Strong attention to detail – stress testing your conclusions so we deliver trustworthy analysis
  • Ability to operate nimbly, as you will be working on several projects at once
  • Ability to lead a team and work closely with data scientists to translate the commercial ask into a technical ask and back
  • Experience in an FMCG retailer, supplier or consultancy

Responsibilities

  • Own the category insights workplan
  • Deliver actionable insight direct to the category teams at Tesco as well as other stakeholders such as central insights or brand
  • Collaborate with others across the product insight team, retail and commercial teams as well as with Tesco to shape solutions and deliver insight
  • Consult with Tesco on category strategies and customer understanding
