The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Government Affairs, Public Policy, or a related field, and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in government relations, advocacy, or public policy, with a focus on the healthcare or technology sectors. Strong knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory processes, particularly those impacting digital health and behavioral health, is essential, along with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with policymakers and regulators.
As the Government Affairs Director, you will monitor and analyze federal legislation and regulatory proposals related to digital health, behavioral health, privacy, and AI, advocating for favorable policies through direct engagement, coalition participation, and public comment sessions. You will represent the company in trade associations and industry coalitions, build relationships with policymakers, translate complex policy developments into actionable insights, and collaborate with internal teams to align regulatory strategy with business objectives, ultimately shaping corporate strategy and ensuring compliance.
