Requirements

• Experience in government affairs, public policy, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of federal legislative and regulatory processes.
• Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with policymakers and industry leaders.
• Knowledge of digital health, behavioral health, privacy, and AI regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and inform on federal legislation, regulatory proposals, and policies related to digital health, behavioral health, privacy, AI, and employee benefits.
• Advocate for favorable policies through direct engagement, coalition participation, and public comment sessions.
• Represent the company in trade associations, industry coalitions, and advocacy groups.
• Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders.
• Translate complex policy developments into clear, actionable insights for internal teams.
• Keep leadership and business stakeholders informed about emerging legislative and regulatory challenges and opportunities.
• Collaborate with core teams (e.g., Legal, Product, Clinical, and People) to align regulatory strategy with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to influence rulemaking and regulatory frameworks.
• Craft compelling policy briefs.
