Candidates should possess 5+ years of IT infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role, and strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, NSGs, ExpressRoute/VPN), Cisco Meraki (Switching, Wireless, Security Appliances), Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (rule management, VPNs, threat prevention), Windows/Linux server environments (Hyper-V/VMware), and networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, DHCP, DNS). Scripting or infrastructure automation skills (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep) are a plus, and familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, PRTG, SolarWinds, Data Dog) and ticketing systems is preferred. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check and drug screening.
The Infrastructure Engineer will architect and maintain resilient hybrid infrastructure across Azure and on-premises platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server), ensuring secure integration and seamless operation between cloud and on-prem systems. They will deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, identity), implement automation, monitoring, and backup solutions, and manage enterprise network environments using Fortinet (FortiGate), Cisco Meraki, and Aruba technologies. This role involves configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and secure internet gateways, troubleshooting and optimizing LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi and firewall performance, overseeing Windows/Linux server deployments, patching, and performance tuning, ensuring system availability, security, and capacity planning, applying best practices in infrastructure security and participating in audits and compliance (ISO, NIST, SOX), and managing access controls, firewalls, and threat prevention systems. The Engineer will collaborate with DevOps, InfoSec, and Automation teams to support deployments and integrations, provide Tier 3 support, and act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues, while maintaining detailed documentation for network/system configurations, processes, and procedures.
