- Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role, with a proven track record of building and scaling cloud infrastructure. They require deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, along with hands-on experience in deploying and managing services at scale. Strong skills in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) are essential, as well as experience implementing security best practices, including managing firewalls, encryption, and identity and access management (IAM). As an Infra/DevOps Engineer at Maze, you will be responsible for architecting the core infrastructure that powers the platform, automating deployments and testing through CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security and compliance measures are in place, monitoring and optimizing performance, scaling the platform to meet user growth, and collaborating closely with software engineers. You will also lead by example in establishing infrastructure best practices, mentoring junior team members, and leading technical discussions as the team expands, while maintaining a focus on scalability, reliability, and security within a dynamic startup environment.
