Responsibilities

Perform key people manager responsibilities such as performance, probation, leave, grievance, and disciplinary management
Manage and develop a team of system administrators
Provide supportive feedback and career development guidance
Set clear goals and manage support loads
Encourage and support learning and development
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within agreed timelines and budgets
Ensure high-quality standards are met
Act as a key liaison between the IT Team and other departments
Ensure that the IT systems are aligned with business objectives
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends
Conduct bi-annual performance reviews
Foster a culture of feedback
Implement strategies for individual and team growth
Continually monitor, assess, and improve IT systems
Enhance team effectiveness and support quality
Participate in interviewing prospective job candidates
Evaluate technical screenings
Play a crucial role in the onboarding process
Champion a culture of high-quality IT systems and support
Establish and enforce support SLAs
Lead efforts to identify and remediate technical debt
Contribute to fulfilling certification security requirements including, but not limited to, PCI and ISO27001
Liaise with the Finance team and other departments for purchasing and budget oversight
