Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience performing in an ISSE role or similar
DoD 8570 IASAE Level 3 compliance
Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) Certification
CISSP Certification

Responsibilities

Applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Performing network scanning using tools such as NMAP
Utilizing tools like PKI and Wireshark for security analysis
Conducting auditing and penetration testing
Experience with scripting
Applying IASAE principles
Formulating and assessing IT security policy
Experience with Defense in Depth Principles/technology (including access control, authorization, identification and authentication, public key infrastructure, network and enterprise security architecture)
Applying risk assessment methodology to system development
Solid understanding of security practices and policies and hands-on vulnerability testing experience
Experience with secure configurations of commonly used desktop and server operating systems
Comfortable working on multiple systems and components simultaneously in various configurations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Commitment to adopting and adhering to best practices
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasking and communicate clearly regarding technical options and trade-offs
Capable of performing high quality work both independently and with a team in a fast-moving environment
