Responsibilities

  • Analyzes customer information requirements and product specifications to define technical content strategy and plan
  • Designs and develops written and/or visual product-related information (e.g., user/configuration/troubleshooting guides, online information like interactive demos and help systems)
  • Codes, builds, compiles, and tests online information and/or sets up, loads, and tests systems hardware to create information deliverables
  • Provides feedback on ease of use and user interfaces to product development
  • Acts as customer advocate to help define/refine product requirements
  • Develops standards and style documents and templates, scripts, style sheets, and script and graphic libraries to ensure common look and feel
  • Interfaces with cross-functional areas (e.g., marketing, test, support, manufacturing) as a member of the product development team
  • Works with a team of writers and editors to research, write, and produce high-quality, topic-based documentation for HPE products and applications in the Automated WAN space
  • Produces a range of deliverables including short-format web copy, in-product instructions, tooltips, and user guidance for intuitive digital experiences
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders such as UX designers, product managers, content strategists, and subject matter experts
  • Follows established style and process guidelines to provide consistency and completeness
