Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, with demonstrated expertise in maintaining and repairing terminal and logistics equipment, including bucket elevators, conveyors, pumps, and control devices. They should be proficient in troubleshooting equipment failures, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness of operations, and understanding process flow to identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience with predictive and preventative maintenance programs, including repair and maintenance of various machinery and equipment, and the ability to perform light welding and cutting.

Responsibilities

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will gather technical information to perform maintenance tasks, conduct equipment walkarounds and inspections, adjust equipment, properly dispose of waste, perform equipment repairs and part replacements, and follow procedures for obtaining parts and supplies. They will be responsible for all tasks related to predictive and preventative maintenance programs, including repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, performing work order repairs, and coordinating downtime efficiently to maximize production uptime. Additionally, the Mechanic will perform light welding and cutting, coordinate with operator welders, and troubleshoot issues with electric motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, and other equipment, while also setting up and operating metalworking equipment.
