Position Overview

Tonic.ai is seeking an experienced Implementation Engagement Manager – Enterprise to lead the onboarding and implementation of our most strategic enterprise customers. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers achieve value quickly and efficiently, establishing a strong foundation for long-term success and growth. Tonic, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, operates at the intersection of data privacy and generative AI, serving major global companies and government agencies that rely on Tonic for safe acceleration of software development and AI initiatives with high-quality synthetic data.

In this role, you will manage complex, high-impact implementations across global organizations, collaborating with Solution Architects to oversee timelines, align stakeholders, and maintain project momentum. You will work closely with Enterprise Customer Success Managers, who are responsible for the ongoing customer relationship, to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to sustained value and growth. Success hinges on strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire enterprise implementation lifecycle, from kickoff to completion, managing scope, timeline, stakeholders, and success metrics.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, drive execution proactively, and coordinate across internal and customer teams to meet key milestones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer stakeholders during implementation, ensuring clear communication and alignment at all stages.
• Partner with Solution Architects, who handle technical execution, while retaining ownership of the overall engagement and delivery strategy.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Regularly report on progress, blockers, and outcomes to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements by refining templates, playbooks, and delivery models for scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing complex, customer-facing software implementations in enterprise environments, preferably within high-growth SaaS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic implementation programs involving multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills and presence, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise data stacks (databases, cloud platforms, data privacy) and related markets such as DevOps, data security, or DevTools.
• Highly organized with a proactive approach and a strong sense of accountability; comfortable thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to customer sites.
