Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of business immigration experience, either as a Paralegal or Immigration Specialist. Knowledge of various visa processes in Hong Kong, such as general employment policy, ATSMP, IANG, and Tech Talent Pass visa, is essential. A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a law firm, corporate, or startup setting is required, along with strong writing, logical reasoning, and communication skills. Candidates should possess strong client service skills, including experience interacting with customers via email, call, and video, as well as the ability to anticipate clients' needs. Experience managing an individual pipeline and juggling multiple customers and priorities is necessary, along with the ability to function independently while following established directions. Attention to detail is critical, and familiarity with JIRA, Notion, and Slack is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Immigration Consultant will provide a consistent, industry-leading experience to customers by delivering legal support and strategy from the initial kick-off call through petition filing. They will actively monitor the individual case pipeline to achieve production targets, meet critical deadlines, and enhance client satisfaction. Effective communication with customers regarding procedural and case processing issues is essential, along with identifying client immigration solutions and understanding current client activity. The role also involves providing feedback for continuous process improvement, reporting directly to the Immigration Specialist Manager, managing the Employment Life-Cycle, and working on special projects as assigned.
