Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor’s Degree, with preferred business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting, and working experience with technology-based processes within a business environment. Strong communication skills, including the ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines, are essential, along with computer literacy and typing skills.
Responsibilities
The Quality Analyst is responsible for managing the various aspects of the medical file review process, including reviewing completed referrals to ensure client questions have been addressed appropriately and reviewing completed reports for accuracy. They will follow up with reviewers and clients with any additional questions or clarifications, update clients frequently on referral progress, ensure reports are grammatically correct and free of spelling errors, adhere to the QA checklist prior to completion, format reports for approval, and communicate clearly between the customer, reviewer, and Operations team. Additionally, the Quality Analyst must confidently speak with physicians and clients regarding the content of their peer reviews, and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
