Requirements

  • 3 years or more of corporate sales experience in medical devices or other products/services
  • High communication skills and flexibility to handle various customer scenarios
  • Presentation skills to introduce basic products to customers
  • Willingness to learn about GE HealthCare products and business processes in addition to current experience and knowledge
  • High motivation and ability to collaborate as a team player with internal and external stakeholders
  • Open to mutual feedback with stakeholders, with a mindset to improve existing tasks without being bound by precedents
  • Fluent in Japanese and comfortable with some English conversation
  • Driver's license for operating a business vehicle in Japan

Responsibilities

  • Understand assigned customers (hospitals/medical research institutions), build relationships, and conduct sales of main products (CT/MRI etc.) using solution activities
  • Understand market characteristics, build customer relationships, and steadily execute strategies in the assigned region (Zone/Block) to maximize orders, sales, profits, market share, and achieve high customer satisfaction through product and solution provision
  • Build good, long-term customer relationships by maximizing team and company resources
  • For CT/MR/Rad/Mammography: Develop and implement product explanations, presentations, and follow-ups
  • For MI/Intervention/Surgery/Healthcare Digital: Provide basic product explanations, support MSS (Modality Sales Specialist) as customer contact, and develop/implement customer visits and follow-ups
  • As customer contact, create, record, and maintain customer information including key decision-makers for deals
  • Use information tools to grasp market information (including competitors) and develop/implement strategies
  • Collaborate with PMO (Project Management Office) to streamline post-sales processes for medical device installation and introduction
  • As One GE HealthCare, cooperate with sales/technical staff for ultrasound, PCS (Patient Care Solutions: anesthesia machines, vital monitors, etc.), and other imaging diagnostic devices to contribute to solution building/provision
