Requirements

  • Industry-leading expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Innovative Medicines (IM) Project Delivery, particularly in Bio-Therapeutics for Drug Substance and Drug Product facilities
  • Profound knowledge of facility design, construction, commissioning, and process validation for green field and brown field projects
  • Ability to provide overarching technical leadership and guidance in engineering for capital projects from concept to handover
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current industry and regulatory standards, trends, 483s, and audit reports

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert engineering technical support and guidance in facility business needs, design, construction, commissioning, and process validation for strategic Drug Substance and Drug Product facilities
  • Define and deploy a vision and strategy for standard Facility and Equipment design across all IM capital projects
  • Oversee the design and creation of all necessary Facility and Equipment processes and standards to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable transition from project build to start-up, operations, and maintenance
  • Keep abreast of all current industry and regulatory standards and trends (e.g., 483s, audit reports) to ensure IM Bio-Therapeutics manufacturing plants are designed, built, and commissioned to leading-edge standards
  • Work across project teams and end-state site engineering teams to ensure integration, close collaboration, and seamless handover from project to operations
