Responsibilities

As an IET Customs Compliance Specialist, you will act as the primary point of contact for customs operations, ensuring efficient and compliant customs clearance processes for Baker Hughes IET entities. You will be responsible for processing notified imports, filing customs declarations, assisting with documentation, assessing current customs processes for improvement, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing advice on customs-related topics. Additionally, you will monitor shipments, resolve issues, support the implementation of customs special programs, and perform post-entry reviews of customs declarations, while also tracking key performance indicators and collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
