Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or a related IT security role. Strong expertise in IAM concepts, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC is required, as well as hands-on experience with leading Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms and proficiency in development tools and scripting languages like Java and SQL. Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is also necessary, alongside a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance requirements including SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.

Responsibilities

The Identity and Access Engineer will lead the development and implementation of robust IAM strategies and architectures, ensuring compliance with security policies and operational needs. They will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive IAM programs encompassing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Access Management (AM), integrating these systems with various applications and IT services. The role involves developing and enforcing role-based access control (RBAC) policies, implementing automated provisioning and de-provisioning processes, managing systems for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and leading IAM-related projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the engineer will mentor junior engineers, streamline IAM processes through automation, enforce IAM policies and controls, and stay current with industry trends to recommend enhancements, serving as a technical solution architect and providing thought leadership in IAM implementations.
