Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related area of study and typically 10-15 years of Cloud System administration experience, with specialization in one or more cloud domain areas such as cloud platform, cloud computing, cloud data management, cloud networking and security, cloud automation and integration, and cloud application design and modernization. Proficiency in designing, integrating, and troubleshooting cloud services hosted on hybrid cloud platforms like HPE Greenlake, Azure Stack HCI, and experience with public clouds like AWS, Azure, or GCP are also required.

Responsibilities

This role involves deploying and managing private and public cloud infrastructure and services, configuring and maintaining virtualized environments, monitoring resource utilization, automating provisioning processes, managing user access, and implementing security controls. It also includes managing data center systems and networks, performing disaster recovery planning, providing technical assistance to end-users, and responding to security incidents and user inquiries. Furthermore, the Hybrid Cloud System Administrator will optimize cost and performance of cloud services, deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, and leverage analytics tools like Jupyter Notebooks and R studio, as well as DBs like Postgres and mongo.
